Introducing the Somerset Summer Duo: Two Pale Ales, One Perfect Summer Case

Summer in Somerset means long evenings, garden sessions, and pints that taste better outdoors. So we’ve paired two of our favourite pale ales into one case, built for exactly that.

Meet the Somerset Summer Duo a mixed case of Luna and Serpent of the Axe, now available in cases of 6 or 12.

What’s in the case?

Luna is our gluten-free pale ale, brewed with Fuggle and Aurora hops. It’s crisp and refreshing, with bright citrus notes and just enough hop bitterness to keep things interesting. At 4.1% ABV, it’s an easy-drinking beer that doesn’t skimp on flavour and it means nobody gets left out of the round.

Serpent of the Axe is light, fresh, and bursting with tropical citrus character. Brewed with Pioneer and Aurora hops and extra pale malts, it’s a pale ale built for warm weather, the kind of beer that disappears a little too quickly on a hot afternoon.

Together, they cover more ground than either does alone: one gluten-free, one classic, both unmistakably summer.

Why we made it a duo

We know not everyone wants twelve cans of the same beer. A mixed case means more variety in the fridge, more choice for whoever’s reaching in, and an easy way to try both beers side by side without committing to a full case of each.

It’s also just a nice way to drink through summer, swap between the two, see which one wins you over, and keep something cold on hand whatever the weather throws at you.
